Through a chance internet meeting on Instagram and a sudden amount of free time due to COVID, this album was created in the distance between New York City, USA and Montevideo, Uruguay. Jessica Ackerley and Federico Musso have never met or played in person, but their musical chemistry is instant from each of their unique guitar vocabulary.

Inspired by Uruguayan Pre-Surrealist, Lautreamont, Federico thought of the phrase for the title: "Nervios calavera en roja cinta en una noche en bruma gualda." It translates to "A skeleton with his green nerve system surrounded by a red cloth in a violet-brown foggy night." Pertinent to the times we are experiencing.

Each track has a painting attached, which was created just as spontaneously as its musical performance.
